Our Approved Group Projects
Master Gardeners's objectives are to assist Texas Agrilife Extension in serving the community, and to
serve our community through teaching about gardening and related subjects..

To further our objectives, we adopt projects that we work on as a group.  Someone will have an idea
and bring it to the membership, and it will be voted on.  Once we have agreed that we will take on this
project, all Master Gardeners are expected to volunteer their time and expertise to get it done.  We
have several projects going at once, usually, so there is always something to do.

We have done many projects  that have been completed.  Usually, when we complete a project, we
are finished, and we do not do maintenance on that project.  The Nursing Homes, for instance,
maintain the gardens that the Master Gardeners and the 4H put in for them.
